75-140 covers the same viscosity range as 80-90 but goes further in both directions. If the tag says 80-90 75-140 will be OK in it.75-140 is thicker than 80-90 right? I'm up in the mountains for the first time and everyone here says use lighter oil because of the cold weather.
may be a dumb question but....
A banana??
Please explain haha.
Some of the older tricks to quiet noisy gears were to put "additives" in the gear lube. Such additives often included things like bananas, saw dust, and hamburger.I was wondering about that myself.
It gets in between the gears and keeps them from rubbing against each other and producing noise.
