Let's meet up. I'll actually be in New Braunfels this weekend, too.

My experience a few years back was that it was way to dusty. However its not a bad park. Any pics from your visit?

I think it's a great park. Been twice. I don't think it's really dusty at all. TORR in Huntsville is dustyyyyyyyyy. We did 4-5 trails the whole day.

These are from pictures from 3 weeks ago when I went with some other Jeep people:

Video oh me coming down near the "North Pole." I don't know what they are talking about me high centering in the video. *eye roll*

I guess we didn't really take too many pictures of the trickier, off-camber stuff.

Those are all the pics of my truck. Don't have any interesting things from the Jeeps either.

It'd be fun to have an all RBV meet. MastaWaffles would be down, I'm sure. He's in New Braunfels, too.

Jay & Kryptonite, when would y'all be down?

HMMM? I don't even know if I remember how to put the swampers on the truck. All mine's been pulling is boat duty and pulling f-whatevers out of the sand at Pace Bend! I took the locker out of the rear replaced with an LSD and pulled the locker out of the front replaced with a Auburn. I do however have 4.56 now. Didn't plan on wheeling anymore, really except for boat launching and loading in Lake Travis!! I have tons of rear flex and I doubt my little 33"s would keep up with what look like those 35"s you have.

That's cool.

I'm going to Marble Falls this weekend. If anyone wants to meet up, text me: 832.594.944O

And funny, I actually just took out the LSD and put in a Lock Rite! Don't worry about tire size. We'll all go at a speed that's comfortable. And there are always bypasses.

Hey, where's a good place to jump at Pace Bend? I've been to different parts of Travis & Canyon Lake, but never really explored the PB area. Is there a favorite spot for you?

I would but it would cost to much in gas for me to currently be able to do it.

Pace Bend-In the sand on the beach on tournament point. Last time I was out there, I came back to the truck and trailer, backed down to the water, loaded the boat and NOPE, not coming out as a package. All the idiots had chewed up the sand so much it just wasn't happening. So I unhooked the boat, crawled the truck out thru a runoff ditch, then winched the trailer up the bank. I've also read that anyone putting in at Dink pearson is 4wd with another one towing you out and the dropoff in the water is precarious to sucking trailers down, so I've not gone over there in over a month. Need a rain to pack the sand back down, fill the lake another 50 feet or so. Actually more like a couple tropical storms.

From the reports I've read on my fishing forum and Lake Travis being back up 10' (so now it's only 50' low) the launch has drastically improved. Even read a guy put in a tooner at Dink Pearson with a 2wd Cheby. So for that to be possible maybe they put in a concrete ramp? Have to be for a 2wd Cheby...

Hm. Bunch of us RBV went to Hidden Falls last week, and the trails were quite washed out. I can believe it, Jay.

Jay, can we organize a gathering in the Spring sometime? Kryptonitecb, what do you think? Robertc, Mastuhwaffles, and Armadillo would be down, I bet. Same thing with the 5 Explorer guys in that area from Demon4x4.
