We all mourn with you! That must of been a sad and depressing day indeed! Atleast you are alive!

Insurance totalled my 94B4000, 4x4, extended cab over 3 years ago. Zero frame/suspension damage. Damage was hood, fender, headlight, corner light, grill and a flat tire (tow truck driver popped the bead pulling a bad angle on it)(the core support very corner was nicked, but was not an actual problem). The pics made it look bad, but was all cosmetic, the labor cost was what killed it. I was going to buy it back and fix myself but by the time they gave me a buy-it amount, the storage fees were more than they wanted for the truck. :annoyed:

sucks about your truck bro.

that is definately fixable and if you can do it yourself it will be way cheaper.
mine was way worse than that and i fixed it. just watch out for all the little crap you find along the way. that is what is going to cost the most and is the biggest problem with these fords.

that sucks dude...to make it worst you got the icbc crooks for insurance...(if they write your vehicle off they sell it to a wrecker so you have to pay the wrecker for the parts on the vehicle)

That really blows... Hopefully ICBC doesnt **** you too hard over this.. Knowing them, they will attempt to attach some blame to you.

Sorry about your truck man. Hope everything works out in the end.

Just read a news article this morning that some girl was texting while walking and walked right into a man hole. Accidents happen though, I guess. :dunno:

On the other hand and sorry for the temporary thread jack but :icon_rofl: to this story. Dumb girl. She was stupid and not paying attention. And the family intends to sue cause she was careless? Please, the judge should take one look at this, laugh and throw it out.

Well I finally settled with icbc. First the only offered me $4005 for my truck. I pretty much laughed at them. For my lift and tires they only wanted to add on an extra $225. For my new clutch and front end work I had done ($2100) they only wanted to add on $125. I spent 1 1/2 weeks going back and forth with my adjuster, faxing him ads for comparable trucks that were for sale near me... I finally got them to give me $5500.
