On my '87 STX Supercab 394,936.

Though very little of the truck is actually original...

The Frame (actually the rails and two of the crossmembers
(NOT including the engine crossmember))
The cab shell (though none of the interior or glass)
And ONE of the Fenders.

EVERYTHING else has been replaces, most of it several times.
Like for example, I'm on my fourth bed, my sixth Tailgate
and my 8th (or is it 9th?) engine.

Mines supposedly at 147k and some change. Except I'm begining to feel like its 247 and the PO is a liar. They did mention that they work in NYC.. except they said that they drive their Honda down usually. Key word there that I didn't notice, USUALLY.

God I hate liars..

196,000 for me...she's getting close!

The miss is getting worse though. I need to do a comp check here before I start to do the major maintenance....I REALLY don't want ot do the plugs again. I called just to get an idea...quote was $318. I love the Limas, but I hate the 8 plug head. I think I'll use it as an opportunity to get the intake good and clean. Timing belt is due. P/S pump is finally beginning to fail (after whining for the last 4.5 years that I have had the damn truck!!)

I may be taking it to Seattle here again within the next year to help a friend move back home. I also need to spend some time on the body again, 2 more years of salt since I last did anything is starting to catch up to me. I have learned that spray grease is my friend. I also figure I have another 30 K miles before the upper balljoints are due....seems like it's every 70 K they need to be changed. eh...I'll chang ethem when It fails inspection...oh damn, I have that coming up too!....

Hahaha...It never ends, eh? :)

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
3rd dedicated engine 50 plus on a surrogate so 4 engines i guess....aiming solidly for 800k with the comming 5th engine. trannies used to be a sore subject, and axles.

i have the k member problem as well...but the rails are still there, along with most of the factory paint sheetmetel, at least for a lil while longer:woot:.

About 170k although the odo hasn't been accurate for quite some time, so I'm not sure what it reads.

The only part of the current drive train that came with the truck is the transmission.

flaymon has me beat by a good bit. There is a fleet vehicle I service, 03 Ranger with 376,600 on it with the original drivetrain. They are actually getting rid of it now, the front diff ate itself and $500 to acquire and install a front axle assembly seems to be unreasonable to them. I might actually make them an offer on it.

My 84' has around 450,xxx miles on the drivetrain. 300,xxx on the first engine and 150,xxx on the second so far. My dad is the original owner too.

97 2.3 2wd, 5 spd....
200k miles on the money.
one timing belt, 2 sets of spark-plugs, 85oil changes, 6 sets of tires
stock clutch..... stock everything, including u-joints, leaf springs, radiator fluid,
runs like a champ.... no mis, no clutch slippage, no whining, no leaking.

however my leaf springs on the passenger side have been held together with muffler clamps for the last 60k miles ( a good layer of rust, is as strong as any weld )
