I'm unable to remove Purge Flow Sensor...help:)

I can twist and pull to my heart's content, but I can't get the manifold hose off of the Purge Flow Sensor.
(The purge flow sensor is the device connected to the canister purge solenoid valve).

I want to replace it with a new one to fix p1443, but no matter what I do it's stuck to that hose.

It looks like some plastic sleeve is inside the hose, and I can pull enough to slightly expose that sleeve, but that's as far as it goes. Is there some trick to this?

Not sure if this is the right forum...

EDIT: here's an image of that section, I'm trying to remove the right-most (manifold) hose from the sensor it's connected to: https://images10.newegg.com/productimage/A9Y4_1_20160302650288057.jpg?ex=2

Bump...still can't get it off!

It's almost like it's not meant to be removable, but they sell the sensor separately so it should be removable.

Use a heat gun, or hair drier, to heat up the hose and it will come off, heat it up again to install on new solenoid

Interesting idea, will try.

Wouldn't that heat the plastic sensor up as much as the hose?

FYI for "install on new solenoid", i'm talking about installing it onto the hose that connects to the intake manifold

I was reading up more about this around the web, and this is called a "premolded" plastic hose. Apparently others also have difficulty removing them, even with heat.

It looks like I have to buy the sensor with the hose attached
(https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0T8-0070-001P3)

or purchase the hard manifold hose separately and attach to a new sensor.

Anyone know of a source for the hard manifold hose + sensor? I don't need to buy the entire assembly.

So that hose does not come off with heat.

I don't know how heat would have dealt with that plastic sleeve inside the hose, which seems to be molded to the sensor's hose barb.

Any other suggestions?
