So I have a 90 B2 had 160K threw a rod so replaced it with a 88 B2 that had the same 2.9 with about 100K. So I have been driving it for about a week now and on my way to work tonight it just started stumbling whenever u pushed the gas on the freeway. Got off freeway and vehicle idles fine but when u push the gas it stumbles again in any gear its a manual. Today is the first day I filled it all the way up since I've had it running anyone think it is possible one of two fuel filters since they haven't been replaced yet just didn't make any sence that it was running fine tell the day I fill it up like maybe debrey in the bottom of the tank that mixed up when I filled. Please any help is appreciated this is my only car for work and to get my two kids around.

It does sound like a fuel delivery problem.
Try the filters and see if it helps.

It won't run on just the tank pump. You need minimum 25 to 30 just to keep the engine running. And not running particularly well. The tank pump is just a lift pump, makes about 5 PSI.

It will run, albeit poorly, on just the high pressure pump. You may have lost the tank pump, you may just have a bad TPS.

I'd test the TPS first, then the tank pump.

Update changed fuel filter ran good for two minutes and back to before again also tried switching throttlebody, tps, and iac. All these made it idle worse and throttle responce was worse
