Ive wiggled and pushed up and down and side ways but no luck! any tricks or advice would be great oh,and the cross member is also attached so i kinda know im at the right angle!!

They can be a bitch. Keep at it wiggling the hell out of it. My theory is the shaft gets hung up on the bearing in the crank. I've gone as far as finding longer than needed bolts to help align the bellhousing and then snug up two other bolts...then try wiggling again or even put a socket on the crank and turn while wiggling.

Crack the bleeder on your slave. Then you can compress the slave instead of trying to compress the fingers on the pressure plate.

I used to get stuck at the exact same spot the OP mentioned, and used longer bolts to draw it up, then one time I happened to be watching as I pulled it in, and the pressure plate was compressing. Cracked the bleeder, fingers came out, fluid came out, started doing it with the bleeder open, still have issues sometimes, but not near as bad.

Never had so much trouble getting a transmission back in as I am with this one, I've aligned everything properly and torqued the pressure plate to 20lbs, everything's tight. I go to slide the transmission in and it gets stuck (of course) so I pull it out, and the alignment tool won't even go into the pilot bearing, so I loosen the pressure plate, align the clutch and repeat. Done it about 30 times now and its getting old, why does it seem like my clutch plate is misaligning itself??
