I have these two green wires that are pretty chewed up on my transmission, I'm thinking they might be a shift indicator switch, but I honestly don't have a clue. The first picture (only one red arrow) shows the plug, then it wraps around where my shift lever slides into. The second picture (two red arrows, and a green arrow) on the other side of the transmission shows the wires with red arrows then the green arrow shows what i think might be the switch. It looks like that switch might unscrew. Any suggestions?

For anyone looking at this thread, this is not the shift indicator light, I have just found that it is the back up light. Kinda feel pretty retarded that I didn't know what it was, the location of it makes perfect sence.
