Forgive me if this post is in the wrong place. I have lurked a bit, and searched a bit, but can't seem to find the answer for this one.

2002 auto 4wd Ranger. Just turned 100k, and it has been a reliable truck so far. Love this thing.

I'm looking for some info before I go start working on it. GF hopped in the truck at work and called me with this issues.

Speedo went basically right to 90 mph, in the parking lot.
Whine
no difference with Overdrive off, in 1st or 2nd, but reverse drives normal
Truck will not accelerate
Won't shift into 4wd.

I'm headed out to look at this weekend. (left if parked, and Im at work on the other side of the country right now)

First guess was a speed sensor, told her to pick one up so I have it handy, but I can't find where it is.

2wd trucks I see it is on the rear diff
2001 and earlier I have pictures and videos all over about it.

Can't find info on 2002.

Any other ideas? parts I should take out with me?
If anyone has a picture of where this VSS is located on this truck I would appreciate it.

Thanks
