I have a 1998 Ranger that I bought last weekend. I tested all of the lights and everything seems to be ok, but the two clear upper lamp units do not work.
I have been trying to figure this lamp arrangement out. I cannot find these listed anywhere on the wiring diagram. I have checked the lights and as near as I can tell the lamp that is circled does not show up on any circuit in the Haynes manual I have. The lamp has an orange bulb in the unit with two wires running to it ( a black and a brown) drivers side I cannot see the passenger side connection.
If someone could tell me what I am looking at I would appreciate it. I think I want to change the orange bulbs to white led and use them for day light running lamps. Yes I know I can probably put the relay in and use my head lamps, but I do not want to do it that way.
