Is anyone running 4 12s in their ranger super cab?what is the best way to face the subs?up? down ?toward seats? i attached a pic i found online of what i would like to build but think i would hear alot of distortion with them facing up.I might go for the downward firing but i dont know thats why i posted here.thanks

im running 2 10s facing up and it sounds great but if you can face them down that would probably be best.

Good choice on the box :icon_thumby:

What will you be running? And most amplifiers have built in crossovers. You're gonna need some serious wire on whatever you are putting in there as well.

Well I got it all in and hooked up and wow it hits hard.It could just be me though beacuse Im used to having subwoofers in the trunk not in a truck. It was well worth the time it took. And the end result is amazing .Now I gotta go carpet shopping on ebay to finish it.

Everyone keeps tellin me to flip these around to the rear.So how much space do you all that have them facing the rear have between your subs and the back of the cab?I would have about 2" if i faced them to the rear and still have the room i need for the seat.I was thinkin about 6" would prob be best but idk.

I would think you would only need enough room for the excursion of the subs. And it seems like you'd get an awful lot of rattle if you faced them bassackwards, unless you laid down the deading real thick back there....
