Block Heater,,,,,
You know the saying "Dont do as I do, Do as I say",, This really applies here too. Last year while out in Minot North Dakota, I stopped by the local Oreillys Auto parts and picked up a block heater. I went out to a friends house to install. I knocked out the softplug and it was then I realized it was not going to fit,, some Jackwgon pulled out the instruction sheet, AND come to find out it was even a different heater than what should have been in the package. I knocked out the easiest one to get to, driver side middle,, so back to town before parts store closed to get a temp soft plug. I never did get the block heater in. Just make sure you have the instructions no matter what. I never would have thought it would make a difference. But it wouldnt fit in the hole due to the placement of the hole in relation the the cylinder. So yea... If all else fails, make sure to check 2 or 3 packages to make sure your getting the right one. I am back in Oregon now so I really dont need a block heater.
