1988 xlt ranger 2.3l 4cyl manual tranny, from what i hear it WAS a six but downgraded to 4 and also it seems to me it used to be an automatic because the metal is hacked and and folded under my shift boot and if i fiddle the foam i can see road =/ aftermarket work is a 3 inch body lift and cherry bomb glasspack for kicks n giggles, cant forget ole reliable BF's for sure footing got the truck off my dad awhile ago and for sentimental means i intend to keep it around for along time,im here for appreciation of others rangers and work done and to also have a place to find support and help on a niche subject, ranger work. ill hold off on my Q's for newer posts just wanted to say hello my names CJ

Cool, gotta come up sometime! I live in the Charlestown Township area, 135+ acre farm with plenty of ATV and Dirtbike trails, and an ATV/Dirtbike racetrack I made (revamping it this summer I hope).

Maybe sometime in the next few weeks =)

If you want, bring the truck up, and an ATV or Dirtbike and we can go trailing! my truck is innoperable right now (brakelines and battery) but is a nice centerpiece to add to a farm.

(Added your IM, get on if you want to talk)

Will do, and ditto on headin out, night dude, and you can still come over without an ATV, I dont mind havin a fellow ranger enthusiest coming over for a day of relaxation, its a nice farm to relax on, can't see a city or town for at least 10 miles.
