There should be a vacuum diagram on the radiator support close to the hood latch. The PCV goes into the valve cover grommet on the passenger side to the nipple on the throttle body base or intake manifold/plenum.

The PCV pulls a vacuum from the intake and the breather hose does that it just vents into the air filter side of the throttle body and has a fibre filter to absorb the oil and drain back into the valve cover.

Valve on the passenger side, breather on the driver's. Both go to the big connections on the bottom of the throttle body.

so pcv goes to intake vacuum and breather filter to port on the throttle chamber, right? i'm sorry if i'm asking stupid questions i've just not been able to find a lot of the answers for my questions. someone swapped engines in this bronco before i got it and it's been difficult to say the least to put everything back the way it's supposed to be. like the hose coming out of the bottom of the air filter box, where does that go? and what goes to the small port on the bottom of the throttle chamber?

Small vac port on the throttle body goes to the carbon canister behind the driver's head light.

The hose out of the bottom of the air box goes to the passenger side exhaust manifold.

You are putting a new PCV valve on right? I always change the PCV with spark plugs.
