83 Ranger front right axle removal
Hi, I have an 83 ford ranger with some bad u joints on the front right axel that need replacing. I'mean having difficulties removing the stub shafts front the differential. I saw a few other threads for newer Rangers stating that you need to remove a couple clip inside the diff, but the problem is my diff doesn't have a cover like most, instead it seamed it's bolted right to the front end. If this is the case, and there is a clip, then the only way would be tough remove the whole front end or pull the left axle and pull the diff backwards. Please tell me I'm an idiot and there's a simple solution/explanation. Thanks for any and all help.
