Trailer wiring was very easy on my '85, no way I would pay someone to do it.

Unplug two harnesses behind the license plate, plug a t-connector between them and wire in the trailer connector that tickles your fancy (4/7 rv combo connector on mine) and you are done after you mount the bracket. You just have to match wire colors, nothing extremly technical about it, you will have to run a wire for the brake controller though.

I would like to put a controller in mine, I don't pull any trailers with it that are big enough to have trailer brakes though. :dntknw:
I hadn't looked on my bronco 2 to see how to wire it, but if its just the plug in connectors then that will save me about $40 on installation, just I think about $20 for the 7 pin RV plug which I install on all my vehicles I don't plan on pulling anything major with my B2 but the 7 pin can be easily adapted to any other connector that's my reasoning behind the 7 pin.

None of my trailer, well ok my car trailer, has trailer brakes but the car trailer isn't towable behind the B2, but I plan on installing trailer brakes on my little travel trailer and possibly on my utility trailer at some point just as a safety measure for towing behind the B2.
