Does anyone know where to get new or what the measurements are on the bellhousing allingment pins on a 2.8 motor going to a FM 145 transmission. the one in the B2 I bought are missing and I think that is the source of the starter problems.:icon_confused:

Not sure how much help this will help or not, but when I did my trans swap on my 2.8 (C3 to M50D) the dowel pins from the M50D worked just fine on the 2.8.

I would guess that they are probably all the same no matter what trans you have but I need some kind of measurement so I can get some made thanks for the info though.

As long as the proper bolts are used to actually bolt the transmission in, wouldn't they hold it in alignment?

Also, couldn't you just get a long bolt or two and cut a section out of them to use as alignment pins? Or are they more like roll pins. I don't remember...
