I'm currently building a 2004 Sport Trac, I moved the rear end back 2 inch's. My truck came with a 1 piece drive shaft behind the 5r55e tranny and now I'm forced to have a 2 piece built.
My main issue is the carrier bearing, I'd like to keep it as simple/convenient as possible. I figured a Ranger crossmember and carrier bearing would be the easiest for me to get part is ever needed, only problem is I don't know what would work best and I was hoping I could get some help from you guys.

Here's a pic of what I'm building

Give Tom a shout for your drive shaft. I have had a few built from him. Tell them what you are doing.
