I don't buy into it. I'll believe it when it's in ford's website

The Bronco and Ranger are coming back, now as for what they look like, yeah, I agree, I would not hold out on the Bronco looking like this. I would love for Ford to use this as the style for the new Bronco tho.. but I'll bet it will look similar to the Edge or Explorer :(

My credo
19K, 19D, 92Y, 88M, 91F....OIF-III (2004-2005)
looks like the "Bronco" will be nothing more than a Ford Explorer, so it sounds like they're going to just rename a current vehicle as usual :(.

I could very much see ford simply rebadging one of the vehicles they have now and giving it a facelift.

I also seriously doubt that whatever they make will be a 2 door

Exactly what they'll do is just change the name on a current vehicle that is for the US market. Something along the lines of the Explorer...which the Bronco existed long before the Explorer ever did....however the Explorer used to be some sort of package option in the F-series trucks years ago as well as the Ranger name used to be a package option in the F-series trucks as well LOL.

To further muddy the waters I have seen Bronco's with the "Ranger" interior package also.

Ford isn't the only one, grandpa has a '89 S-10 Tahoe pickup.

Ford is committed to 2 new models for North America. My bet on that is an aluminum Expedition to line up with the F-150. And there have been lots of EcoSports rolling around Detroit. That would meet their commitments to Michigan plant.

Wanna take a bet against the EcoSport being renamed to the Bronco and released for US market? Then a Fiat Toro version of EcoSport for Ranger (which assures Ranger doesn't compete with F-150)... ;missingteeth;

To add further useless knowledge on here. Ranger was originall a model of the Edsel brand.
