Hey guys I pulled most of interior out and re insulated/did some sound proofing on my 2000 ranger last year but several of the replacement retainer clips I bought aren't retaining the rear interior door panels anymore. I was wondering if this is a common problem and if there are possibly a better type of retainer clip to use I plan on upgrading my speakers and a few other things over the next year so I would like to avoid 2 sided tape. any suggestions/links would be greatly appreciated.

Failing is easy. Everyone can do it.
Take some of the weak/broken ones into your local NAPA store. They usually sell these in baggies and the cost isn't as much as you would think.

I actually did that the first time around. The problem isn't the cost I would gladly pay more for a better/ stronger option.

If you found the correct parts, what is the part number, manufacturer or any info? I went to 3 places, including NAPA looking for the same thing with zero results.

Thanks

I found that nylon pins of a different style work just fine with my interior panels. I found 20 for 5$ on Ebay. They have 140635 in the bag and seem to work in various applications and on various makes and models of trucks.
