what egr!

I cant locate the thing.its not overthere.its mot under here.its not back there so...where in the f..f..f..four ohh is the thing located?

On the 97 Model with the plastic intake it is on the drivers side. The pip mounts righ tat the end of the manifold before the manifold connects to the Y pipe. Follow the pipe foward and you will find the valve right next to the intake manuifold at the end of the pipe. IO am sur eothe rmodels are very close to the same set up....

94 4.0? No EGR except on California emissions models.

1994 49-state Explorers have EGR.

1993 Cali have EGR.

most 1994 Ranger and 1993 Explorers don't

The basic rule is Non-SEFI 4.0's do not have EGR.

SEFI 4.0 engines do.

Yeah, but we weren't talking about Explorers, so I didn't see them having it as relevant.
