I'm planning to use my 2004 2wd ranger to haul motorcycles and am planning to bag it to make it easier to roll them in and out. I'm currently debating on suspension options.
I have bagged my 2003 cobra and know I can swap in a cobra IRS into the ranger to drop the truck down to the ground, but I was hoping for less fabrication downtime and sticking with the 7.5 rear and going with the Chris alston 4 link cantilever rear with bags and a 2.5" notch. I'm jsut wondering how close I can get the tailgate to the ground before the differential hits the bed when lowering just the rear and maybe raising the front slightly.
I know I won't be able to get the tail gate to the ground with the truck level, but I was hoping to get it as close as possible with the shallowest angle and not cutting up the bed. I know I'll still need a small ramp to get up the tailgate but I'm just trying to make it easier than having to use the long curved ramps.
TIA
