I need to know if it is easy to hook the brakes up in a 9 inch rear up to my ranger with minimal problems . With my full size 8.8 I could not figure out how to make the e brake work but the lines went right in like the stock rear

Id also like to know what you guys did as far as connecting the 9 inch yoke to your shaft.

Please any help thanks

as far as connecting @ the yoke on the 9" a dana spicer 5-460x 1310 to 1350 conversion u joint is going to be the easiest option. O'riellys auto parts has em cheapest master pro part number 348

and the 9" drums are very similar to the 7.5 and 8.8 just run your E brake cable through the drum baking plates and hook up the rear brake lines and your good to go

Best measure what the yoke is before deciding on what u-joint. The 9" came with several different sizes. Check with tech library up top on dimensions.

U-joint Series U-Joint Width (inches) Cap Diameter (inches)
1310 3.219 1.062
1330 3.625 1.062
1350 3.625 1.188
1410 4.188 1.188
