You stole that truck for $400. I would have scooped it up in a heartbeat.
i bought the truck from my wifes brother, the funny thing is i almost sold it twice and even had it on craigslist at one point. there is something about it that i liked and decided to fix it up, not sure what that is though lol.

Your truck's come a long way. Looks great!

How are you attaching your snorkel to the top of the A pillar? I'm about to install one in mine but I'm not sure how to attach it up there.

thanks :icon_thumby:

on my truck the cab is really beat up and im not worried about how it looks, so i drilled a hole in the A piller and bolted a speed sensor bracket to it. now when i want to use the snorkel extension i just have to clamp it down to the bracket with a band strap or large hose clamp.

here is the bracket i used, i will get pics of my truck with everything painted tomorow.

i think the difference is because of the bed liner , mine did not have one when i took the pic , if you put it below thw bwdliner it will look shorter , and it could be because of your body mounts also

i took the bedliner out and it is still taller than it should be, but i already knew that by looking at your pics so its no big deal.

it was nice meeting you and we should get together sometime to go play in the mud when i get tires like yours lol :icon_thumby:

thanks again for the roll bar, i will get it where i want it eventually :D

just remember before you cut it down height wise to take into account that your cab is sitting a little lower

i cut 4 inches off the 4 posts and it looks alot beter, i took the bedliner out and set it in:

the sides touch the bed so i will just keep a inch on the bases when i weld it back together.

i forgot to post these pics of when i cut 4 inches off of the roll bar.

i installed the roll bar and bedliner yesterday.

first i cut the bases down to 2 inches and cut 4 pieces of 2 3/4 pipe to go inside them.

then i drilled through the bases/pipe and bolted them together, after that i bolted the bases to the bed and test fit the roll bar.

i then removed the roll bar and set the bedliner in on top of the bases. instead of trying to measure where the holes go i simply used a hammer and pounded around the 2 3/4 pipe intil i cut through the bedliner.

here is the bedliner with the roll bar on.

and here is the truck with the bedliner bolted in and the snorkel extension on.
