All,
I was looking in the tech articles on brakes and see that the 95 up front 2 piston calipers CAN be retorfitted to 1st gen Explorers. Anyone done this? I just put '98 rear disk gear on my '92 axles, in my '88 BII and they fit perfectly. I was curious about upgrading the front. Anyone have more info on this? Thanks!

You will need everything from the knuckles out IF you have an 89 or newer I beam, if not, you need entire beam, knuckles, etc from a 95-97 ranger

Ahh,
Thanks for the clarification. Hopefully I would have noticed that when starting to pull the brakes from an Explorer..... However being armed with the correct info from the start is always a plus. Thanks again!
