Heres my 1990 for ranger ive had since high school originally equipped with 2.9 v6 5speed 4 inch lift 32's. Started having the usual ttb problems and so i started on my sas. Well 8 years later this is where Iam.

plan
dana 44 eb 6lug outers chromo's locker
dana 60 rear 35 spline spool also 6lug narrowed to eb width
4.56 gears
cage radius arms and eb 5 inch coils in front
3.5 eb leaves out back
flatbed fuel cell underneath
cage inside with the cab gutted
sliders and bumper with winch able to be moved front and back
40 inch mtrs 17inch beadlocks
5.0 motor
c4 reverse pattern manual valve body
dodge 203 to dana 20

Now I know the 44 isnt going to hold up but i will eventually swap in full width 60s front and rear with 5.38's. But for now here it goes will probably be slow going every once in a while due to funds and work schedule.

Well I've gotten some more done. In one of the previous pics I had the heater mounted didnt like the location because I wouldnt be able to mount any guages. So I faced the heater down got some plumbing fittings and some sump pump hose. Then got two defroster vents from a 76 toytoa and tried to graft them in as best as I could. Pretty happy with the dash so far just no money for guages. Next is seat belt bar some gussets on the cage.

Havnt gotten a whole lot done till this weekend my jeep project has kept me pretty busy. But managed to get a little progress this weekend. Pushed the front axle forward 3" and plated the frame. I also wanted it lower so I used early bronco buckets and notched the frame so I could slide them forward.

got my 17" beadlocks just waiting for goodyear to make some tires.

A few of me and some friends just to show you what else Ive been up too.

Well since I moved my axle forward about 4 inches from the original location my stock steering box wasnt going to cut it. It would end up in the radiator unless I dropped it down. So I decided to use a fj60 box with a trail queer ifs pitman arm reamed out to accept 1 ton chevy tie rod ends. I had to do quite a bit of surgery to the frame rail to get this done. Special thanks to mr. plasma cutter.

Well since I moved my steering box on the outside of the frame my trackbar just needed to get alot longer. So I drew up some templates out of card board and built a trackbar bracket that moved the mounting location over in front of the passenger coil spring.

Some heims from ruff stuff for the track bar.

Heres a toyota pitman arm and tapered reamer for 1 ton chevy tierod ends.

And I have to give Swag offroad a plug for this radius tool for a plasma cutter sweet tool. And yes I know my welding skills are lacking but Im sure nothing will come off.

I got it sitting on its own weight brackets burned in I know the axle bracket is a little ugly but it isnt going to break. My next project is to get the tranny rebuilt in the next couple of weeks and transfercases installed again. Yes I know none of the nuts are tight or have cotter pins.
