Anybody have knowledge on Ranger roll bars maybe 1985-1992... Did short beds and long beds have a slighter longer tube style? Thanks Mike

I'd guess that depends on the style of bar and what company made it. You have something specific in mind? To come down centered on the wheel arch, a longbed would require like 6" longer tubes.

Hmmm, I never saw a Ranger that came with a factory roll bar before in the bed. I know a few places that still sell them. JC Whitney for instance. You can Google the year of your truck and roll bar and see what comes up for roll bars.

No such thing.

Postin' from teh Galaxy
wrong. factory roll bars, grille guards and tube bumpers were all options on the stx trucks in the 80's. my 87 came from the factory with all three, though the PO had replaced the rear bumper with a standard bumper after the original had rotted out. he also removed the grille guard somewhere along the line. still had the roll bar and lights, along with all of the original wiring and switched for the lights on the roll bar and grille guard. looked exactly like this truck when it was brand new. ask zman, he parted out a truck with those options as well. i still have the grille guard i got from him like 5 years ago.
