Hi all
I have a 05 Mazda B3000 (automatic, rwd) that seems to get misfires every so often. it will idle normally and then start misfiring and the truck shakes, but then give it gas it sorts its self out.

Or ill be driving and then it looses its power and i floor it then it takes a bit but the rpms shoot up and she starts moving again. The check engine light will come on (flashing) when it does this and then later shows solid check engine light. ive scanned it (seriously the best tool to have for working on your own vehicles) and its showing misfires in some cylinders.

thus far ive replaced the ignition/distributor (old one was cracked). fuel filter. im not sure whats next

Please help its cold and i just want my truck working right:sad:

If you replaced a Distributor then you don't have an 05... only the 94 B3000 had a distributor.

When is the last time you changed spark plugs?

I'd look at plugs, wires, cleaning the MAF, and if none of that helps, start testing the fuel injectors
