:D

That is where I want it to be. I plan on cutting A LOT.
The issue is the D60 is close to the frame rail. 4" maybe.... Might be tubing that section of the frame.

i have the same amount before the pinion eats frame.... get good bumps.

but when i link mine ill be doing tube from the front body mounts forwards... dont need those pesky bodymounts in there anymore anyways

Plumcrazy found me some outdoor rollers so I can keep the 42s out of the sun and away from local sticky hands.

We are going to stay at this rental house for a year and just bank cash for our dream home. Unless I sell my dually. But I really dont want to do that untill I find a house with a perfect shop which probably WONT happen in my budget. I plan on building a 48x32 where ever we end up.
So I am working on making a nice 220v/50amp extension cord so I can run my welder and compressor off the dryer plug in the basement. The wiring to the garage cant handle a 50amp line. I am also adding some lighting. There is currently 2 socket lights for the entire 3 car garage. I need to at least work on this thing a little. Get the trans in, button up the rear end, etc. Thinks I can do in the driveway while its outside. I wont be able to get it the garage any time soon.

So getting settled into this rental. I am starting to dig it. Saving tons of money. I organized this garage, made some work benches and added several light fixtures (dont tell my landlord). My truck fits by 6" length wise haha.

However, my car has been killing me lately. Taking a lot of my spare time. Just put a ton of money into it. It needs more but I have already dumped in more than its worth. So I was on the hunt for a $5k Crown Vic. Well, that was denied. My wife wont let me get another beater. She proved to me that they do tend to suck me dry and waste my time. She gave me 2 possibilites per say. Drive my OBS year round or sell both for a new truck that wont suck up my life. If I consolidate to one new vehicle, I will have time to work on my actual project! What a concept.
Anyways, I refuse to drive my OBS in the winter. So I did a bad thing. I drove some new trucks. Wow. So I started looking for the new truck that I want. I finally found one earlier this week. Listed my OBS a few days ago. Got a lot of interest. It will probably be sold by the end of this month.
I did end up buying a new truck yesterday. I jumped the fence. I went to the dark side…. But I got my 3 pedals and manual case! I should have the truck in a few days as it was not local.
But I would like to find another OBS once I get a house. A smaller OBS. Something in a 2wd 460ci flavor since I bought drop beams for my dually last week...

Who wants a 250k mile Acura? Eh eh?

My apologies... I forgot Dodge doesn't make trucks any more. And when will you be installing the DPF delete?

The OBS has moved on to its new owner. A member on here actually, @Sampson. She will remain living a good life.

Got the new one home. For a bottom trim, its laid out haha.
I found a dealer that built two trucks 99% how I wanted. They were missing the heavy duty vinyl seats. One was red and one was black. My son chose Red.

Now I just have to sell my car...

No, it will not get deleted. It will remain stock. All my wrenching focus will be on the Mounty now.

We all say that :icon_rofl:

That's a great looking truck? How does it drive compared to the OBS?

Just curious, why would you prefer vinyl over cloth? My Ranger came with vinyl... it was nice and easy to clean but hotter than a frying pan in summer. If you want to keep the interior clean, just get a set of carharrt seat covers or something like that :icon_thumby:

LOL. That is true!

Thanks. I like the truck so far. I forgot how high 4wd trucks were, but its all good. I just have to wait for the coils to settle.

They both haul 6 people and they both tow what I need. One just does it better. You honestly can't compare them. One was designed in 1992, the other in 2014. The new one cost 5X more than today's clean OBS...
Everything is better on this '16 EXCEPT for the cool factor. The ride with the rear coils is impressive. You cannot even hear the engine inside until about 2600 rpms. I am struggling to know when to shift.

I will say I prefer the ZF. The ZF lets you slam it. This G56 makes you wait!

Today's vinyl is different. My moms 2015 F-350 XL vinyl seats are awesome. And her truck is STRIPPED. Its not the flat, sticky, hard stuff it used to be. With kids, dogs and greasy jeans, it is just easier to deal with. Ram offered 2 grades of vinyl. Traditional and an extra thick version. But cloth works.
