It seems as if more and more people are asking the same question lately. "How do I SAS my truck?" Its a question that does not have a single answer. There are lots of ways to do it. Generally, IMO, the person asking the question has not done any research, nor do they want to. When the generic How do I SAS my truck question pops up, I ask myself what do they actually need a SAS for anyway? Are they ever going to do swap or will they lose interest and never post again? 99% of the time I think people just see a lot of SAS trucks on the site and think its only way to get some big ole mud tires on their truck. There are reasons some SAS and some dont.

End Rant.

yea I hate seeing the typical responses that you got bud, but well...they're warranted.

Do some lurking in other threads in this particular 'Extreme Suspensions' and read through what some people have gone through. Realize how crazy you want to get, and model your approach after one of them. I did this for months before even joining the site. Once I started to collect my first pieces for my project, I then joined.

After that point any one of us would be glad to help as we're all in different stages in this process (like for myself, towards the beginning), and have much to offer because of where we're at in our own projects. But look, there are so many subsequent questions to ask following your original one sentence question, that it's really not worth the time. Keep feeling us out, and come back when you have some more ideas on your own, sound fair? :icon_thumby:

To get you started in the right direction, ask yourself these questions: what type of wheeling do you do (weekend wheeler/dd, trail truck, DD with occasional wheeling trip, light or hard wheeling, and where you wheel), what size tire do you plan to run, is there a chance you will ever go up in size, what engine will you be running, again, will you ever go up in size. Each of these questions will change both the axle type and suspension type. As stated, this is probably the #1 site for having the most sas'd rbv's on the planet (yeah, including pirate) and this question gets asked at least twice a week, so please excuse the rudeness of our first posts, but also try to understand, the same generic question gets old quick. Like previously stated, look at some other threads, not just in extreme suspension, but also in under construction offroad section, and I'm sure most of your questions will already be answered. The key to any project, big or small, engine, suspension, or axles, is research. We will be glad to help you once you get the basics :icon_thumby:

Do you mean a Dana30? solid axles 35's were a rear axle in jeep Cherokee and wranglers.

Like svt stated, what is your primary purpose of the truck? We would be more than happy to help you but need more info.

A Dana 30 is what we believe you are referring to. Easiest way is to get a long arm kit for that axle (any jeep lift kit company will have them) and install it using a typical radius arm style setup except using either heim or johnny joints. But again, give us more info on your wheeling type, tire size, and eventual engine...
