Hey all the wife was complaining about not having a door panel on the passenger side so i decided to go ahead and replace the power door lock actuator. I went about a Dorman actuator part # 75647 and it wont budge the mechanism. I feel the motor turning but it doesnt seem to have enough power to actuate the lock mechanism. So I sprayed the crap out of the lock mechanism with PB Blaster to losen it up and it moves freely by hand. Truck smells like PB blaster real bad now but i doubt the inside of the door will ever rust. But anyways what are the ods that motor is defective or maybe another problem? Have any of you guys ever done this job and if so what part # did you use?? Thanks in advance.
