So, I just installed a new radio in my 94 4.0L ranger. I was dumb enough to take out the old radio, cut the harness, and wire it right to the new harness without making the 15 minute trip to the store to get a $6 harness adaptor, and eventually save me 1.5 hours of wiring within the truck. All said and done, the radio does work like a charm. But now my gauge cluster illuminator does not work. I've replaced it's fuse twice, and my uncle says its something with the radio illuminator wiring. I know there were some un-used wires in there, and would like if anybody who has had this problem please help me out.
