I believe most any 70's-80's trucks would. I had an 80 F150 4x4 that the spare tire got a rock wedged between the tire and the tank and wore a hole in it. It also had a saddle tank. Rust did the side tank in.

Hmm, didn't know that. Dad's '80 F-350 has the tanks setup like yours but with the spare mounted in the bed like they did with dual tank Rangers. It also has the big spring loaded "farm hitch" that probably displaced the spare from being under the fuel tank. I figured since that is how they did it on dual tank Rangers that is probably how they would do it on dual tank fullsizes as well.

Of course, nothing beats having the gas tank right behind the front seat and in the cab w/ you! I had a 51 Chevy 4 window P-up w/ that set up. I can't remember when the last trucks were built like that.

MastuhWaffles; Now that you've had these for about a year, how do you rate this system. I'm looking at them right now and probably will go w/ a side exit as that is what I had on a 76 F100. Was the install smooth as you expected or were their problems w/ piping or mounts. Looking for a new project.

Well, I had it done by a shop, it seemed fairly easy, he cut the pipe after the cats, welded on the Flowmaster and hangers and ran piping out the back. If your going to run it out the side than that would be easier, you could run it right after the muffler and out the side and not have to bend it around the back. You can put it where your existing muffler is and use those mounts.

You can barely hear it around 3k rpm, it gets pretty loud over that, its pretty good though, when you push the pedal down it screams like a v8. I gotta make an acceleration video sometime.
