I bought a 87 4 x 4 standard cab ranger. Have an 86 ext cab that I am taking parts off before I junk it. I rebuilt the top end and this weekend I started on the cab interior. I pulled the bench seat and the panels and headliner as well. I am putting the carpet from the 86 into my 87. When I pulled what was left of the rubber floor I found rust. At first I thought it was the heater core until I pulled the sound deader off the floor on the drivers side. There are a few holes about the size of a half dollar. I also have one from the floor up the side panel. This hole is small as well. I bought a mig welder 135 from eastwood. It is still in the box. I am looking for help from someone who has repaired body rot before. I also have more body rot to fix on the exterior but that is another story.
