Hey guys I'm turning my rusted out bronco 2 into a buggy of sorts for the farm. Anyone fit a 351 Windsor in a ranger based vehicle that's currently on the site? I have no heater box and the only part of the body I'm keeping is the firewall for now. My main question is should I offset the motor up to keep out of my traction beams? I have a 6" lift. The remains of the sheet metal I can easily work around.

I can't seem to attach pictures with my phone.

Anyway I have a complete 83 f150 with a 351 Windsor 2 barrel backed up by a 4 speed with transfer case. I'm gonna pull the 2.8 drive train and fly the f150's in its place. I will make a new trans crossmember and extend my radius arms to that. Then I'm gonna cut the drive shafts and weld them together to fit.

That was pretty cool. I don't think I'd try that to often though unless your buddies like pulling you out lol. Be sure to post up pics of whatever you do to that beast, hell of a toy. And welcome to TRS.

I used the 351 from an 84 F250, 4 speed, and transfer case to swap into my 91 ranger. Search my posts you'll find details on it
