Don't believe it...you can loosen the lock ring, rotate the pump a little and still align the tab and lock ring so the return line is not kinked...didn't come that way from the factory. Whenever you do something the first time, shoot a digital pix so you can see how thing are oriented when you are putting it back together.

I was more interested in seeing if you finally were able to post that picture...:)

Anyway...as an aside...did you fab up that front bumper or was it on the truck when you got it?

I'm looking for a front bumper for my 96 frame and i have the stock one from a 92...but it doesn't fit...so looking for other options...
No I built that. 5/16 thick channel. Still got the blueprints I drew up if youd like.

Just now rotated the pump a bit. Didnt seem to help much. But I did take the return line off and as soon as I did, gas shot all over the back of the cab. So it seems like there is plenty of pressure on it. Ive always been told if it aint broke dont fix it. I did however pull all the tape off the filler neck only to discover a few decent holes. Put some seal-all on them and taped it back up, now it chirps the tires in 2nd. Never done that befofe and ive tried

The smaller connection with only 1 hose? If that's what you're talking about, it the EVAP system line. Should run to the charcoal canister.
