While replacing a small hose that blew out in the cooling system (heater hose related I guess) another part was damaged. The hose is easy enough to find but nobody I have brought it to seems to know what the plastic piece is circled in red.
The hose is circled in orange.
The unidentified part is circled in red. This part has an arrow that points away from the hose that blew out that I was replacing.
While replacing it the nipple the hose connects to broke.
Anyone have any ideas?
I thought maybe some sort of check valve, but the center of that plastic piece is completely open. It clearly seems to be more than a simple coupler between hoses.
If it is just a coupler I am sure I can find something.
Thanks in advance.
