I’ve got a 99 ranger with a 3 in body lift and want to put 4 inches on suspensions how wide of a rim and what size tire could I run before rubbing.

37" is going to be too much tire for the stock IFS to handle.

33x12.50R15 is generally considered tops if the SLA IFS is to not fall apart, though a few here have managed to get away running 35x12.50s (both on 15x8" wheels w/3.75" backspace).
