I just brought this truck truck in February and i think it has a locking rear but the tag says 3SL73

Actually, I have found 3.73s to be quite nice. Must better than 3.45s.

And LS isn't that bad if you don't blow the clutches.

the SL code is the limited slip with cone springs I believe which are less reliable than the S spring, which is probably the reason for t0x1k's response...
