Needed a truck and found an '07 ranger. I was going to get a full size and tact it out, but cant afford a full size. So i did some research on what all i could do to a ford ranger and saw pre-runner. So my question is what all goes into a ford ranger pre-runner project? Where I do I start? This is going to be my daily driver till I can afford a full size, any advice would greatly appreciated.

I would start with alot of research. I spent about a year or 2 researching before even making a purchase of suspension or body parts. First figure out how far you want to go with it and your budget. This will determine if you go midtravel prerunner or full long travel. I bought the btf long travel kit. Its one of the cheapest ones but I have heard nothing but good things about them and very happy with my experience with them.

sounds like you want to lift it. (not a prerunner)

a pre runner is expensive. wider front suspension with coilovers and an engine cage add some deavers on the back with a bed cage. your looking at easly over 5K for the front end alone
