pappy6802 rough idling and knocking sound

I had a scan run and it said miss on number 1 cylinder, I changed plugs,wires and coil pack. Still have a miss and a knocking sound from back of motor. Could this be the camshaft sensor?:annoyed:

Might be an injector for the miss, also check the compression on that cylinder. Usually the cam sensor will squeal but not knock. You can buy a cheap engine stethoscope for under 20 bux and listen around at the knock and get a better idea of where it is coming from.

Might also be that you got the wires on wrong. I have seen mis-placed plug wires make a EDIS 6-cyl sound like a PowerStroke before.
