To 07/13/98; Replacement recommended

From 07/14/98; Replacement required
That is what the internet says, but I would just replace them. They are fairly cheap compared to the time it would take to tear it down again.

I got mine from advanceautoparts.com ordered everything i needed online and picked up in store about 20 minutes later. I used coupon code lc123 and got $40 off of all my gaskets and bolts.

I've always heard the head bolts are Torque To Yield, meaning they can only be used once. Definitley get some new ones.

1991 ranger 3.0 head bolt placement

Ok guys i decided to replace the head gaskets in my 91 3.0 ranger. there are two different head bolts one flat and one beveled for the oil ports.
question- on the passenger side of block where are my oil ports located so i can put the proper bolts in the proper holes? This is my first time doing this and i have everything else in order and labeled with pics but i didnt pay attention to those bolts til they all came out and i saw they were different . the drivers sides is replaced.

thanks danimal
