Congrats on the win. I think 2" is perfect drop on rangers. With the right wheels/tires, it's enough to look good, but still enough clearance to be used without worry.

That thing has the perfect stance... and the cragars where a good choice to give it a meaner look. Nice looking truck. I often wondered how much payload capacity would be subtracted with the flip kit though. I'd love to do it, but I still do use the truck as, well, a truck sometimes.

If you're talking bout a rear hanger flip, I wouldn't thing anything would be lost, cept a couple inches clearance btwn the axle & the rubber frame bumpers on rough roads. The axle flip would cause you to loose double the clearance at the bumpers (and you better double-nut the u-bolts that hold the springs to the axle, just to b safe). A heavy load would probably cause the frame bumpers to sit against the axles & make the ride a little stiff though. A hanger&axle flip would be kinda rough all the time. But, if you put air adjustable rear shocks on, you could level the rear out no matter what weight load you carried or towed with whatever type of drop you choose to use. whew! Somebody double check all this!
