Probably not that wet in those fields lately. If you had your winch mounted you wouldn't have a issue at all!

I have some bad news....

My B2 is falling apart..... There is rust on the frame and body mounts. My trucks is rattling apart.

The good news is that I just purchased a 1987 2wd B2. I'm just going to transfer over all my old stuff and let Blue go rest in a JY somewhere.

Stay tuned....

Sorry to hear it but I'm curious to see your new one!

How did you find this out? Were you underneath working on something else? I'm sure you could it out on here and make SOMETHING back?

Just spotted the body mount rusting out one day. Its been awhile. This truck was never in excellent shape. Then I spotted the shock mount rust on the passenger side. Pluss a few more spots

The 4.0 is still plenty. No v8s in the near future.

Not in this truck. Would love to put a Coyote in my f150 .........

Got most of the interior tore out of the White B2. Pulling the engine soon. It will get new gaskets and go in the 88 Ranger I got for my son. Been gathering parts for it.

Still need a few more parts before I get started on the B2's, but I have decided to patch the frame and do a body swap instead of switching everything over to the 2wd frame.

I had a 90 BII with over 300,000 miles that lived in the snowy mountains and I know what you mean about the mounts. I drove mine till the body was just sitting on the frame without help of the mounts- boy did I ever love that vehicle. That's why I am doing another one.

Ok. I have acquired a 44/9 combo with stock 3.50 gears.

I have two options......

A. Install in my F150. The downside to this is I use this truck regularly to work around the house in. To install it would reqiure a 4-6" lift.

The plus side is I would lift it 4-6" and render it useless.

B. Install in the B2 when I switch the body over.

I can't see a downside other than downtime.

Just put a new tranny in the F150 back in March. Tying up loose ends on it.
About to get the axles out fron the 79 so I can start fitting them on the white B2.

I've heard a lot of people talking about the 5.5" lift springs from Wild horse. I think I'm going to order those.

Plans are to bring the white b2 home to start working on within a few weeks.

Starting the tear down.

I'm going with a gen 2 front. I'll be pulling the dash and putting bed liner on the floor

I think I'm heading a different direction, The B2 will be available for sale as a whole or as parts.

I was in a bad place on my last post, plans continue, funds are coming available. Found a parts explorer. Getting its dash, harness, and so forth. Probably doing the 8.8 swap too.

Holding off on the d44 until I have time to go through it. I need to take smaller bites. Changing bodies is enough right now.
