Anyone know how the interior door panels on a 2008 come off? There is one screw at the bottom at the edge on the striker side. Are there pop out clips or are there buttons you need to slide the panel up to release.

Thanks

George

Pull the screw and lift the panel straight up. Once you get it off you'll understang how it stays on.

Not sure how much the panels have changed since '98, but these had screws very well hidden.
One was buried in the carpeted panel near the bottom (maybe the one you mention), there was another screw that required pulling off the black trim surrounding the handle to get to it.

Once the screws are out, then it just lifts up & off as Brett mentioned.

Like Brett said - there are 2 screws - remove screws and then lift up - dont pull the panel out - like older cars - BUT PULL UP !!

Unless they changed things, they're 6x8 in my 93.

Is that with no rear swing doors, krosby? If so the whole plastic panel might have to come out, but I'm not sure because I never dealt with one of those.

Pull straight out real hard. They are held in by the metal type spring clips

Yes it has rear swing doors and the problem i cant pull them straight out cause it conflicts with the seatbelt attachments..The lower clip for rear passenger to clip in i can work around but its the upper belt releasing mech. for the front i cant figure out...there are no screws on the rear panels??? Any suggestions? If im not clear then i may just take a photo of it then post. Regardless thanx for the quick replies '09ajmaros' and 'explorin94'

hey dude its really easy just unbolt the seatbelt at the top you well have to remove a small plastic cover to get at the bolt then pull it off the hardest part is putting the plastic clips back on...
