so as i was riding around in my buddys '96 eb explorer i realized that i really like his front bucket seats, and was wondering if they would bolt in to my '87 eb b2. i found a CLEAN set at the local junk yard for $125.00, i just dont want to spend the money if they wont bolt up. has anyone done this, or heard of this being done?

if u take the factory sliders/risers off and use your it should bolt right onto your tracks, u might have to drill holes, but it shouldnt be bad

you shouldn't have to drill the holes, but you might have to tap them.

I just picked the same seats from an 89 b2 on sunday. they bolt right in. :icon_hornsup:
You might want to check at a u-pull-it .Mine were $40.00 for the pair and in great shape.

Swap the sliders from your seats to the expo seats and they will bolt in, the holes are already there for your sliders even, Really simple swap.

If I'm correct,I think if you can find mounts from an '89 or '90 Bronco II. You can use the passenger side and have the seat slide forward instead of the swing up style like the early trucks. Anyone else have any info on this?

Yes, 89/90 had the passenger slider. I dont know what year they changed though, 88 may have the slider too.

you may not even have to tap the holes.
i put explorer seats in my b2, and the holes weren't threaded, but some persuasion from a 3/8s ratchet sunk the bolts in anyway.
