I've yet to see any aftermarket LED vehicle light (headlamp or aux light) that isn't a far too-high color temperature, giving the light a distinct bluish tint that causes too much glare (which the picture of that one lit seems to show the same thing there as well). Even ones thrice that price are this way as well.

Save your $$$. If your halogen lamps seem too "yellow" even with good quality bulbs (such as Sylvania "XtraVision"), you might try wiring them onto relays, bypassing the factory vehicle wiring. This can add a good 20-30% brightness as well as whiten them up a bit too, without the glare of bluish-white LEDs.

My sealed beams (I think they are the Xtravisions) suck, low beam pattern is basically like two maglights set on spot down low in front of the truck. Freaking awesome high beams though. If I set the low beams to be effective the high beams are in the trees and worthless... its like they didn't get the angle between the two right. I plan on going with an H4 converter lenses on my truck. $100 for those sounds a lot better than $300 for the others.

I was shopping on there for bulbs for one of my tractors (upgrading from 1156 bulbs to a LED sealed beam replacement) and ran into those and wondered how they were, I know some of the 90's equipment runs that style of bulb to and was wondering if they were worth their price or not if someone ever asked about them.

Yeah that does sound like the filaments are not positioned correctly in the bulb or something.

H4 conversion housings are a good way to go. You'll have a lot more bulb (capsule) options this way too.

By chance, have you made sure your headlights aren't upside down? :)

Yes.

The writing is the right way up and after further thinking about it at the time the patterns should still be right but just opposite of what the indicator in the truck says. High beam indicator should be lit for low beam etc...
