the advance adaptors radiator will be easy to move foward about an inch with the brackets. So ill likely move it closer to the engine and notch out the grille and that will give me around 4 inches to work with. I just dont have enough room with that water pump setup. I hate to cut out the core support of the radiator but its looking necessary at this point

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
that one is 25x19 and about as small as i would like for 350-400 hp.

wiping out the core for air transfer is a good thing. i run a 6.2 setup currently and with the 1 ton gm diesel radiator its real tight to the waterpump with the intech v8 fans.

I have photos in my build thread, should be a link in the sig to it. First photos are of before I moved the fan lower on the rad as to help cool everything more evenly but also clear my water pump and fan motor.

The fan I'm using only needs 16x16 mounting surface ( through core ) so it works with the 4.0 radiator well and pushes 2500 cfm.

yeah im going with that same trimline you are using likely as a pusher though. With my body lift it puts the centerline of the water pump in line with the motor so a puller isnt an option. IS the 2500 cfm enough to keep you cool?

They recommend a 2500 cfm for a v8 . So I would have to say yes . I am also using it as a pusher fan .

I guess a good question would be, what FEAD are you running?
