I'm not 100% about my idle issue, rev up n down a little! When throttle body is closed!
I haven't check for leaks or anything!
At idle with throttle body closed there is reversion, maf sensor double reading the air??

how does it run off idle? hold steady at 2300 and 3500 rpm. come off slowly back to idle, still hunting check fuel. get yourself a chip regardless.

If I unplug the maf it idles fine, but goes lean and with maf plugged in it surges a bit and idles reallly rich n bounces a lil parked at 2500 rpm driving it's great!

bov to tight? Should it release the excess air at idle or only on throttle release?

bov should release when ever the pressure exceeds the spring strength, if your only looking to run 3-4lbs and you got an aftermarket its possible the spring strength is too much. if you haven't yet, check for leaks, and are you boosting at idle? check idle screw, might not be open enough if you are.

glad this got moved to FI thread. most of these guys should help you out in more detail than me.

i wonder if I made a custom intake with maf just after the throttle body if that would work.. So it only meters the air being used! One down fall I could think of would be it might lean out when boost is added, unless the mechanical fuel controll might override that by adding 12psi to the rails for every lb of boost!

Ebay bov had 2 springs in it, took one out, bov works great but! Sometimes it surges if the bov doesn't open enuf at idle.. It's weird.
