I need some help on the 4wd system of my '92 explorer. I recently rebuilt the shift motor, due to the broken bump stop and tried to manually shift the t-case into 4wd in the opposite direction (i'm an idiot) and now it's stuck in 4L, and the dial on the t-case is pointing to just above the 2H on the case. I messed up pretty good, but really need to get this fixed, this is my dd and I can't drive 60 miles in 4l. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Can you not just turn the dial or whatever it is to another position until you figure out where 2wd is? If not I guess I would have to say that it's broken.

I can't turn it in the right direction, I could prob. turn it opposite the arrows, but I fear I may screw it up more. I have a donor vehicle, but it almost seems to be doing the same thing, it showing it's on 2h, bit the front DS yoke wont spin freely.
